"Mashed, baked sardines" - help!

Sunday, March 17, 2013

Today my daughter had a craving for fish sticks emoticon

So, she tried to make her own: as the subject line promised, mashed up a few tins of sardines (lots of good Omega-3s there), mixed them with some egg and coconut flour, and baked what I'd more accurately call "fish rolls." My, but our kitchen was aromatic. emoticon r emoticon

Didn't taste half-bad; my daughter gave it a "B."

My question is, does anyone have a good recipe for making your own fish sticks-rolls-bite-sized whatchamacallits?

Thanks in advance! emoticon

I eat sardines when we are out on a hike.
    Great on crackers.
I have never had them mashed. Interesting!

I like sardines (in mustard sauce) - I've never mashed them except to mash them in between two pieces of bread, add sliced purple onion and make a sandwich out of. I usually just eat them out of the can with crackers...

I'll bet you did have quite the aroma in your kitchen and maybe whole house! :)
