This evening I realized that I need to get back to my normal exercise routine. I had a real hared winter this year. I was sick for a couple of months and couldn't manage to find enough energy to exercise, it wasn't there. It took me quite a few more weeks to begin to feel human again. So I got lazy after I felt better and haven't been exercising like I should.
My 9 year old Granddaughter and her 9 year old friend asked me to play tag with them this evening. Whew!! What a wake up call. I was out of it before I started. I played for an hour and got slower and slower. I felt like a whale running. They accomodated me by running slower after me, but that is not what I want to do next time.
So now I can say lazy doesn't pay. I am weak. I will have to work up to where I was before I got sick. And I will definitely keep taking my Iron. That is one reason I felt so bad a few months ago. My Iron level was almost zero. Cirrhosis of the Liver causes that. So I have to be careful to keep the Iron up.
Spring is almost here. I need to get strong enough to work in my Garden. Ok enough talking about it, time to do something about it.

    I know the feeling. Last year I had been exercising up before my 5k walk and did great. This year I haven't been exercising and though I finished, it was a struggle. Good luck getting back on track. You can do this!!

    Being sick can really feel like you have been reset to zero. I was there myself a few times this winter too. Know that when you do get back to that routine you'll made fast progress. Good luck! emoticon
