Wahoo !!!! Church Picnic was a Success

Today was a church picnic. I was very nervous to go as I was sure that I would have been tempted to eat things that were not planned for.

My scare was the chips and desserts. At times when I eat these..they start a binge that I can`t control until I have gone wayyyyyyyyyyyy overboard.

Someone had brought venison steaks to grill and it was a "life saver" for me as the other option was hot dogs and hamburgers...which of course you "have to have" chips.

I had only venison steak and green salad plus a few veggies from a veggie tray.

No desserts ...no chips...no calorie laden salads made with mayo, pasta or potatoes. The chips and desserts did not even tempt me.

Wahoo!!! I feel proud and encouraged to get through the rest of the day.

Thanks to my SP friends for the loving support. I hope you also had success.

    Good for you Callie!!!! Those events are always so hard. Sorry I was not among the number to encourage you before you went to the picnic. It was a very busy day for me and I did not visit the site until late.
