BLC21 - 4 Weeks to

Saturday, March 16, 2013

When I look at my 12 week plan...
"I will be in control of what I eat! Mindless eating still rears its ugly head and bites me big time...those stupid carbs haunt me!
I will find time to exercise even on busy days. It is too easy to not bother with any activity.
I will track every morsel that goes in my mouth! I find that when I slide on tracking food, the calories do mount up and there is no losing on the scale."

The first statement...good news there are many more successful days than caving in to mindless eating. I have a feeling the more I practice, the better it will get, time will tell!

The second statement...exercise: doing cardio is consistent...however...I need to work more strength in during the week. Currently it is hit 'n miss!

The third statement...tracking my food: greatly improved. Having Wednesday as my 'cheat' day and only day, I track the ends up being at the higher end of my calorie range, but I find it challenges my body. The trick is to have only one cheat day...if I find I have plans coming up, then I will switch my cheat day. On that day...I cannot allow myself to mindless eat and I have been pretty good avoiding that, if I have to I chew gum, or nibble on baby carrots!

As I finish up this BLC round...most goals will have been met, and there's still time to meet the others!

I love that "cheat day" strategy, too! It's helped me maintain my weight for two years now...knock on wood :)

You've come a long way baby doll! I notice that EVEN on your cheat day, you're still in range! That beautiful brain of yours has changed the way it thinks!
