In honor of the Irish

Saturday, March 16, 2013

Grandpa was born & raised in Dublin.

By habit and tradition I cook a crockpot full O' Goodness. It will be simmerin' all night long. Corned Beef, cabbage, potatoes & carrots & onions. Can't wait to ahve mine with mustard on dark rye.

Q: Who is Irish and sits outide your back door from Spring until Fall?
A: Patty O'Furniture

I am almost 100% Irish. My boys have Irish first and middle names. My DH hates the smell of corned beef and cabbage, so I make Shepherd's Pie and Irish soda bread on St. Patrick's Day. Yummy! Mum and I will make corned beef sometime when my DH is not home.
