Does anyone else have trouble sleeping when dogs are barking? I think every dog in our neighborhood was barking last night! I do not own an animal, nor do I want to, but I have no problem with other people owning them...until they bark all night and keep me awake. At about 3am they finally settled down and I went back to sleep...only to be rudely awakened by the alarm at 5:30...geez,....the bed will sure feel good tonight!

You DO realize you can call the police and tell them.. It is called disturbing the peace and is a misdemeanor.

I, personally, filled my big water soaker with pure vinegar and aimed it at the dogs and soaked them from head to all four feet, They cried and whimpered until owners went to door,, dogs ran in house reeking of the vile stuff and no more noise. It makes their eyes water and they stop barking..

I LOVE dogs, I do not love dog owners who think they reside on the moon, alone.

Different people let dogs loose to poop in my yard and all around my porch,, piles of it.. I asked them nicely to contain their dogs in their yard for that.. they refused, so I shoveled up boxes of the stuff one morning (early Monday) and dumped them on THEIR porch. No more poopy yard,, and they NEVER mentioned it to me..

Our neighbor "had" - or kept for some relative - a dog that would do that - right outside my window. No bad dogs...just bad neighbors! I hope things settle down for you and you get caught up on your rest. Blessings to you on the journey to a healthy lifestyle (which includes good sleep!)
