Yes, that is totally a word...but only because I said so. Anyhow, I've been "bloggie" (it's cuter with an ie than a y) lately because I've been writing daily for a while. Why? I'm not seeking attention, I'm not trying to bore people with the lame daily events of a housewife....but, it just keeps me sane. Could I set my blog to private? Always, but, why should I? I'm not shy and if someone wanders across it they help to hold me accountable for my actions by reminding me what I'm doing here on Spark in the first place...changing my life! Sorry, I just had to vent that for an unnamed "Hater". I'm not ashamed to be me, and "me" feels like blogging today also.

Besides Mr. Rabbit, Thumper's Dad (Bambi), had it right..."If you can't say something nice... don't say nothing at all."


My scale decided to get confused this morning. I weigh daily because it helps me keep track of things like sodium, and fiber intake by letting me know how much gunk I'm retaining. Anyhow, it said ERROR then it said 210.2, then 211.6. While I like the 210 much better I'm leaning more towards the 211.6 because two days ago I was 212. While I'm getting in a ton of exercise lately...I haven't miraculously dropped a solid 1.8 pounds in two days this trip so far, so doubt I did now.

My diabetic dad offered to start walking with me. While we don't get along the best...I would like company that can keep up with me sometimes and he walks about 3 miles daily himself. Though, last night we set off after dinner to walk off our Meat Galore pizza slices and I lost him when we got into the hills...he told me to go on ahead he was turning around to go back. I'm a little sad but he is 58 so 1.5 miles in 25 minutes is probably pretty good.

It's ridiculously cold today compared to the 75 degrees of yesterday so, I decided to hit the stationary bike for this mornings workout. I got in a pretty consistent 14.5 mph on a 30 minute iFit workout with interval settings and high resistance. I was pretty proud of myself. Though I feel a little jello legged now.

Food today is decent. I can't stand to waste anything so I had a slice of pizza for breakfast, slimfast bar for lunch, and I'm planning coleslaw, broccoli, and veggie burger for dinner. Snacks, probably a banana and some skim milk.

Anyhow, writing makes me feel better...Lord knows, I need something to keep me sane...probably medication but, if writing helps...I'd rather write. End of story. emoticon

    Pizza isn't too terrible if it's a thin crust and you don't eat it all up at one sitting. It is so nice that your dad invited you to walk with him. I hope the walks together continue. If they do, your dad's pace will probably pick up quite a bit.

    It's nice that you got to walk with your dad. Even at a slower pace, that would still be awesome. Keep going. You are making it happen.
