It took me three years but I finally made it into Onederland!!!
Today my bathroom scale weighed me in at 199.6! My Wii Fit balance board confirmed that with a weight of 199.5!!!
The amount of weight it took me to get there (17.4 pounds) and the time it took (3 years) seems really slow, but it took me that much time to tinker with my exercise and diet to get it finally trending down.
My PCOS has not made it easy also, my weight loss is 0.5 pounds per week, but after years of having my weight trend down, plateau, go up, and loop ad nauseam finally, this year I am finally seeing consistent weight loss.
I know I'm not going to hit 140 pounds this year, but I know that I am on my way to reaching that goal.
By the end of the year I should be 180 pounds (if I continue my habits, and also, a bit of luck would help), which is about what I weighed in high school and is out of the obese range, and I think that would be an awesome victory!
My next three goal posts:
195.3 lb: 10% Weight lost
185 lb: Overweight range
176.4 lb: 20% (adjusted) Weight lost
It's my cheat day, so I get to have ice cream tonight!
