If you give up, it means you never really wanted it.

Saturday, March 16, 2013

You started out well and saw many successes, but then you make your first mistake. Then you give up completely, it's just easier to stick to the habits of old.

A question for yourself, do you really want it? Was it some passing fad because it was the beginning of the year? Did you start because you "wanted to look good for your spouse" but never got compliments on how good you're looking or start negative feelings toward the spouse? Are you doing this "for the kids"? Only to discover they grow up and leave anyhow?

If you are not in this for you and your health because you will have to live with your decisions for the rest of your life, then you're not doing it for the right person. The only person you should be doing this for is YOU! You have to live with yourself for the rest of your life, so you better be making this your best life by making it your healthiest life!

Any goal in life you make will be hard, but if you want it enough, you will find the way to do it. There will be mistakes made, but those are just things you can learn from and decide that particular thing didn't work, so you need to try a different way. The light bulb wasn't invented on the first try, so why would anything you do be right the first time?

Make your life full of passion and make those goals worth the effort! Only you can do it, no one else can do it for you, so make sure you learn everything you can about your goal and keep on trying until you've found your way through the tough spots!
