We got back home on Wednesday after a long drive through Nashville, TN. It took us about 10 hours to get home.
Back on my routine and it feels good. When we boarded the dog in the kennel she needed a larger kennel because she weighs 70 pounds. So I will be taking her for a walk after work every day. I don't do that during the winter because it is too dark when I get home from work and we don't live in the safest of areas.
I really feel like this time I will stay on track and keep going. Sometimes when I look in the mirror I wonder how I am ever going to get all this weight off. Then I go to some of my friend's blogs and read how they did it. These women are so inspiring to me. One of them somehow seems to sense when I am getting to the point of frustration and will generously write a post that puts things into perspective. When I read it, it gives me back the hope and feeling that I CAN DO THIS!!!! Karlie has inspired me to do a 5K so I am planning on starting my couch to 5K training today when I walk the dog. I am a bit late in starting this for the 5K challenge but there are 5K's all summer around us that I should be able to do. I will still do our 5K but it may be a lot of walking and not much running or jogging.
Off to the Y to get my workout in and then back home to walk the dog and do usual housework.
