Today DH had to get up early to be at the classic movies by 8.30 am.
He was a reluctant mover since last night was very cold. He drove his car because my class with him was at noon so we took both vehicles.
I had promised myself I would wash the floor in the kitchen . Instead I did Sparking and walked with Leslie Sansonne for 2 miles.
I had to take DH and I brown bag lunches and we ate in the university cafeteria eating out of our brown bags and drinking McDonalds coffee. Newman's Own we just love it. I did buy myself a side salad and DH an apple pie.
We moved on to our class which was watching movies about the Western States National Parks. We have Guide books for the parks and our fee for the classes pay for them so it works out well. There were two books and you could choose one. DH and I have separate course fees so we had 2 different books.
We concentrated today on Arizona. My homework is to read about introducing a Chinese beetle to help save the cotton wood trees. That was my personal homework DH had the BUFFALO riders . Rangers who rode bikes in the parks in the Mountains and deserts. INTERESTING ! That is as much as we know till we do homework and present what we learned.
After we got home we were not hungry but weary so we watched another Net-Flix video, It was a long Arts and Entertainment presentation about the war in India.
DH is really enjoying it but he was sure there were only 3 more episodes. It ended very oddly till he opened the video case to replace the disc and there was disc 2 at the bottom, so now we have 4 more episodes to watch Woo Hoo.
It might be snow tomorrow so we can watch more movies.
We both like Senior college it only lasts for 8 weeks. By then it is summer so we take no classes and in September we do 8 more weeks till its too cold anyway and it is almost Thanksgiving.
Senior College was well thought out when we started this. I was there with them at the beginning thinking this plan through DH was still working. There vare a number of Professors and proifessionals who teach the courses for free and they love doing it. Our course fees buy the books and our membership fees goes to scholarships. We use the campus when the other students vacate the rooms it works well,
OFF to bed, Hugs to all, Pat in Maine.
