Some of you may know that since January I am the new leader of the Go the Distance Sparkteam...
We are a small team but anyone interested can join us at any time!
With the team, the focus is on getting further at our own pace... So you set your distance goal and you go for it with the support of a team! It is not how fast you are going and it is not a competition. We are here to support and encourage each other on our journey to success and sharing with my virtual Fitness buddies (via teams and blogs) has always helped me with my motivation.

For my first report- From Jan 1 to March 15!... I ran, cycle (on stat bike), did the elliptical and went for a few walks... including hiking in Mexico!!! (see below)
My distance total is: 290 km/ 180 miles.

The trails of Copalita Archaelogical site are very nice... (You pay an entry fee and you can also have a guided tour for extra$ ... we were just interested in a quiet walk so we went at our own pace).
You start at the museum and then you walk by the ruins...
... then you get some shade (don't forget your repellent!) trough the trees....
keep your eyes down for some little creatures!
... and you climb to an observation point overlooking the bay...
The trail is not that long but the elevation make it a good exercise!
Unique - the tree grew "coating" a huge rock...(sorry - my english might not be accurate...) but you get the picture!
