After exercising yesterday, I was able to get over the "hungry" hump. My lunch lady arms are sore from yesterday's work out as well as my abdominals. Today's workout will include a kickboxing cardio program for 20 minutes. I'm not sure if what I'm feeling is anticipation or anxiety of the work out. If I were being honest it's probably a mixture of the two.
I exercised my self control this morning by NOT getting on the scale. This has been part of my morning ritual for the past who knows how many years. My thought is if I can wait a whole week, I will be more "jazzed" by the result versus watching the scale go up and down, hopefully keeping me motivated to continue through the first 3 weeks! I'm still calling this hell week though, just because changing old habits is totally hell!
