I have read the Spark People book before but recently got the abridged version from the library on CD to listen to while commuting. It really gave me a boost to know that most of the suggestions from the book I am working on or already have incorporated into my life. One of the biggest things that stuck out for me is to be prepared, and I will set aside time daily to get things ready for the gym, and for planning and preparing meals.
I have been a member of SP since 071904 and I am a little embarrassed to admit that it has taken me almost 9 years to ‘get it’. I do understand now what to do during challenges and will continue with my journey to a healthier, happier way of life. I owe this to myself and my family and will never give up.
