So, 3 weeks Post op and I am finally tracking everything I should be tracking :)
Rough start out of the gate- Nausea and I were constant companions after surgery. Hence I was not getting all of my liquids & protein in. I went to our 1 month wellness group meeting and realized to be as successful as possible I REALLY needed to get all the darn protein in- I have a hatred for protein shakes now
but they certainly do help meet the protein goal. At least with the Stage 3 diet I am on I can get most of my protein through food. I only really need 1 protein shake made with milk.
Water is another struggle. Currently I am only constantly getting in about 40 oz of water. I know I am dehydrated, but getting up to 64 oz's has been really tough for whatever reason. Water feels quite heavy when I drink it, so constantly sipping is difficult for me- I will overcome!
I am really happy with my weeight loss so far though. When I started I was at 312, I am now down to 283- 29 lbs in basically 3 weeks is awesome! Can't wait to keep going!
