Where did the week go?

I can't believe the week went by so fast. I anticipated a fast break, but geez! My sister came up on Sunday and stayed until Wednesday morning. I love it when she visits. It has been a busy week. We have had appointments every day for one thing or another. I have been eating poorly and not exercising the way that I should. I am disappointed in myself for that but there is no time for pity. I have to get moving!

29 days until my sister's wedding. 29 days to make that dress fit!

Today is my first day watching my carb intake. Wow! This is going to be hard. A grapefruit has 19 or something! I was looking at Atkins and it says to stay under 20 grams for 2 weeks! Yeah, right! I have worked hard at it today and am at 56. Oh boy. I am going to shoot for under 60 and hope that it will be enough to make a difference.

I am also going to do the 30 day shred and I am going to try really hard to do it everyday. I am still going to jog. That is my stress relief. I look forward that to that time. I hope that I can make it happen with this plan. We shall see!

Tomorrow is my son's 2 year birthday party so I am going to have to be really conscious of what I eat and not get caught up in the festivities.

Farewell spring break.

    You can do it - carbs are listed on the SP food tracker also with suggested ranges based on your weight also.

    In that induction phase you literally have to eat meat and cheese and eggs and not much else. search out low carb wraps and no/low carb treats but bread, fruits and most veggies are pretty much off limits during induction when you body has to flip over to ketosis (can you tell I've done this in the past?) Once you get past the first couple stages you can eat that stuff. I seriously could get an extra cheese pepperoni pizza and just eat a bunch of the cheese and pepperoni and lose weight. Maybe a bite or two of crust. It's crazy. I don't agree with those first stages, but I know you are doing this only temporarily. Last time I did it they sent me a free starter kit with info on what you can eat during each stage and they have bars to eat too and shakes of course :) Hope that helps!!
