THANK YOU with tears!

Friday, March 15, 2013

I have rec'd SO many nice notes and 'welcome backs' from my DEAREST Spark Friends that it truly brings me to tears! Thank you so much for the outpouring of LOVE and support this last week! I'm THRILLED to say that God is meeting me, and I can't thank you all enough for being part of this process! I'm probably down 3#'s, and my clothes are ALREADY feeling better! And even though I've only gotten in one walk this week [yesterday my girlfriend & I walked four miles], my food tracking has been 'on plan' all week! I'm SO grateful! I *even* turned down my daughter's homemade cookies because I had had a small helping of buttered popcorn and my fat grams were all used up [even though I did have calories left], so instead I had another DELICIOUS Chobani yogurt shake w/strawberries, banana and stevia! It was only 158 calories and 1 gram of fat--which was all I had left for fat grams! emoticon

Anyway, all that to say a HUGE thank you, and send the BIGGEST bear hugs ever!

I'm SO thankful that Nicholas and Andrew are heading home from college, and Nate is going to spend the weekend. We get to talk to Jonathan on Sunday [he graduates from Basic on April 4th] and it will feel SO GOOD to have 7 out of 8 children home this weekend! emoticon Working on my menu planning this afternoon for next week since they LOVE to eat when they come home! ha!

Posting this picture to show the 4 older boys, but also to remind me HOW AWESOME it felt when I had reached my goal weight, and thanking God that I have the motivation to go there again! emoticon

Well, I'm off to the races! Thanks again everyone for your love and support! I honestly couldn't do it without you which PROVES that being away from Spark is a recipe for DISASTER!!!! emoticon

You know I just love you to pieces. I am so glad to see you in a better place. What an awesome choice last night. The yogurt is so good for you. A lot of times I have to remind myself of that. That it isn't just calories but how good are they. Of course on Sunday I will have a piece of buttermilk pie a friend is making for me. No nutritional value but it will be a wonderful treat. emoticon

Way to get in a walk. Just think it is going to be warming up soon and you'll be out in your gardens and walking. You will not have much down time.

Love those babies. What a blessing to have them home together. emoticon

Three cheers for my dear friend! One week down and I'm so happy to see that both the scale and non-scale victories are there for you to enjoy. This is, indeed, some great motivation, as is your family. Be strong and be focused as you fix your kids favorite dishes, breads, and desserts while they are home. Celebrate the great people they have become thanks to the great leadership you and your husband (and family) have exhibited. Pray often, thank God (out loud), and enjoy the blessings that will abound as we also wish for you the very best. You have lifted our spirit when we needed them and now we pray that your spirits remain lifted in service to the God, loved ones, and neighbors God would direct our attention to. You are truly a blessing this day. Thanks, luv! Hug, hug -- Evelyn
