Yesterday was a hungry day. I ended close to the top of my calorie range. I also did something a little different; I walked in the evening. Now that spring is here, I hope to o more of that. It not only gives me more exercise, but also prime family time.
I crammed a little more fitness into my day, too. I did wall pushups in my office. I did crunches and situps with my fitness ball. I stretched and moved as much as possible.
This am, I popped out of bed at 4am and got to the Y at my usual 5. I wanted to do a training run, but the treadmill scared that desire out of me today. I did my first run segment and the treadmill wouldn't slow down. I could speed it up, but not slow it! I stopped it and got off.
I headed to elliptical then. I read a couple of chapters of my book and got in 30 minutes there. I really didn't feel like doing anythings else this am, but when walking down the stairs, the draw of the weight room got me. I bounced in there and got circuit in.
A quick stop at Del Taco for a LARGE light lemonade and on to work where I cleaned up and got going.
A choice to succeed must be accompanied by the actions to accomplish it. I am doing it!
