Stupid Scale!

I happen to be one of the individuals that weigh themselves on a daily basis. Typically i don't see a problem with it. However, this past week my scale has been ALL OVER THE PLACE. Over the weekend i lost a pound a day. Leaving me on Monday at 145. Tuesday 145.4. Wednesday 145.8. Thursday 145.2. Then today at 146. I eat roughly 1400-1500 calories a day and workout for about 40 minutes. Any idea to continue with my weight loss and not gain anymore?

    How is your water intake? Don't compare to what you should be drinking but what you have been drinking in the past. That can create larger fluctuations.

    Also same with your food intake. Calories are just calories - what's the salt content been like? Quality of food? Have you recently started eating a bit differently even though your calories are in check?

    And lastly what about your fitness routine? Could be muscle gain and not fat gain if you changed your workouts recently. Or could be reverse if exercise has declined. Also keep in mind that if you never change your fitness routine your body will become used to what you do and will no longer seem like a challenge to it any more causing the workout to not be as effective any more.

    There are other things that can fluctuate it too but these are 3 most common ones. Want more ideas as to what it could be you can always message me and I can send you some more ideas.

    Try just weighting once a week because your body does fluctuates all the time and it also has to do with what you eat and drink too.

    Maybe a metabolism quiz would help. www.mercola.com (he's a doctor) has a "free" quiz to take to see what may help people get healthy and boost metabolism. I can't remember the exact name, but if you go to his site and type in quiz on the search, it will probably come up. I, too, have been bouncing between 2 or 3 crazy pounds. Just emoticon emoticon

    My weight fluctuates too...wait another week, see if it improves, then bump up some exercise or cut back on some food choice, and that may jump start things again.
