We celebrated pi day at work today, with pie. We had at least 10 pies there. I tasted a few. I had tiny slivers. What saves me is that I don't like traditional crust. I ate less an actual piece of anything, with no crust. Yay!
I also had Chipotle for lunch. Our "team" won a contest last November and we finally got our reward lunch for it. The deal was we all wrote down our chipotle order, faxed it in and "they" went to get it for us and we would have lunch. At about 11 my boss asked if I was busy and if I would mind going to pick it up. So I did, and I paid. Yes, I get reimbursed, but this was my reward and I had to go get it, and pay for everyone!? Eh, we got to have chipotle.
I also had a meeting tonight of people coming to advise on our program. I fed them, of course. I also gave them french silk pie.
The really awesome part of today: I was stressed to the max this morning. I didn't grab extra food and much and nibble on things or even stuff my face. I ate my chipotle and pie and chicken wrap and still was at my calorie range. Despite stress, it was a good day.
I know I mentioned signing up for the Rave Run (5K). I don't know if I mentioned that I think I sprained my foot. I hurt, probably strained, my ankle last week. The pain has moved down to my foot, basically the side, below my ankle. So as much as I have wanted to be training for the 5k, it hasn't been cooperating, nor has my schedule to be honest, but at least as things are starting to feel better and as I am doing better nutrition wise, I am almost wanting to get out "jogging" again. I am going to try to keep from walking around much on it yet this weekend, and maybe just do elliptical if it doesn't hurt too much and see how that goes.
