2.2 lbs gone again...YAHOO-Need to reflect
Thursday, March 14, 2013
Okay well 2.2lbs gone again and I am not sure what is going right this time.
Anyways so I have been doing some reflecting and research as well this seems really easy right at the moment and I know some of you would be jealous if I told you what I have been eating. (I will in a bit lol)
So since January 1 I have shedded 15lbs give or take. It has been relatively easy. In mid December I started birth control again after some doctoring and being diagnosed with PCOS. I was told I needed to lose weight ugh the dreaded word and I could self manage my PCOS and it would make getting pregnant easier. Well ain't that easier said that done is what I thought. Well the OB told me that the YAZ birth control would help with the acne that I seemed to get in September after being 30 for 9 months like really never had a blemish when I was a teen and now talk about difficult to deal with. I don't wear make up as I have nice skin why cover it up. Needless to say I did research on the YAZ about side effects did not really look into the reviews because I needed some relief of the symptoms I was having at the time and was kind of desperate. My doctor told me to try it for 3months and see but here is a year prescription if you like it stay on it. So far so good no side effects that are negative. Well losing weight and it being easy as it is when I say EASY I mean it. I have went to the gym 2 times since Christmas and I will admit I walk about 30 minutes a day on average just because I do. I have eaten salads for lunch since I started work January 21 and well I think this may be helping but is not the be all and end all.
I drink water primarily as it is my first choice.
I have though not
eating JUNK. I eat chips and cookies and cake. YES AND THE SCALE HAS STILL BEEN DROPPING. I even had my first wedding of two planned in India and I was on vacation so as if I am not drinking or eating the healthy stuff. I love their sweets.
So what is it that I have discovered the last two days?
Well I did more research on this YAZ birth control and read reviews which I am leery on all the time. Anyways long and short there is a diuretic in the birth control so I am losing water weight. I know I have work to do but this makes me want to work hard and tone up now that I am dropping the water weight that I retained years ago when I had to be on predinisone as a child for a liver condition I had. Can I say good by to one long awaited dreadful weight gain and struggle I had as a child with the help of birth control and begin my new healthy living? I am going to absolutely try and this gives me more motivation than anyone can think or believe.
I do not know if what I read is absolutely a 100% true or would it be for anyone else but it seems to be true for me in my situation.
