3 weeks and 1 day results!!!! WOO HOO down 10.4 lbs!!!

Thursday, March 14, 2013

OK So I have been back on SP for just over 3 weeks and these are my results with weight lost and averages.

Feb 20--March 13 which is 3 weeks and 1 day I have lost 10.4 lbs. = 3.46 lbs a week

CALORIES-- 915 cal

Workouts its split into a couple categories.

WEIGHTS-- is either regular weights at gym or jumping on my trampoline with wrist and ankle weights on, was mostly trampoline.
I had 9 times averaging 3 times a week. each session probably about 30 mn

INTENSE CARDIO--treadmill, snowshoeing.
Treadmill--180 mn
snowshoeing --160 mn
340 mn total = 113 mn a week if averaged out = which averages about 4 28 minute session or 2 55 minute sessions

LIGHTER CARDIO--trampoline, walking dogs
trampoline --315 minute=105 a week=averaging 3 35 mn sessions a week
walking dogs--460 minutes=153 mn a week=averaging 7.66 20 minute walks a week.

JUST BEING ACTIVE--house cleaning heavy & light, walking done at events we were at
1070 minutes=356 minutes a week= 50 a day

AVERAGE WEEK looks like: rounding up a little

CALORIES -- 915 cal a day

INTENSE CARDIO -- 4 1/2 hour sessions

LIGHTER CARDIO PLUS WEIGHTS -- VIA trampoline wrist /ankle wt. 3--35 mn session

LIGHTER CARDIO WALKING DOGS -- averages out 20 minute walk every day

JUST BEING ACTIVE -- 50 minutes a day

So I am happy with the lighter cardio ( trampoline ) and the amount of weights I am doing and the just being active part.

My intense cardio I am going to up to 4 hours a week and walking the dogs I want to up to 40-60 minutes a day now that the weather is getting warmer out.

My food plan has been a mix of things as I have a lot of allergies. But looking back I think it mostly resemble a paleo diet, I try to eat mostly veggies and fruit and add in a little meat in the form of tofu, fish ,eggs, protein powder, chicken and turkey I had been eating beef occasionally but have decided to not eat it any more, more do to the fact of gristle in the meat....EEEWWWEEE oh and blubber in it again EEEEWWWWEEE!!! I do not eat real meat everyday normally but since I have been back on SP I have noticed I am eating a little more, still very minimal I think though. I don't eat grains, wheat , bread, gluten free bread, processed food at all as I am allergic to them. Most processed foods have 1 or more of my allergies in them most commonly being wheat, corn, yeast, cane sugar. I do very sparingly eat rice, quinoa, sweet potatoes. I am also in the process of cutting out dairy ( milk & cheese, but not eggs ) allergic to casein. I also use intermittent fasting once or twice a week ( under 400 calories ).
There are a lot of other aspect to other diet that I have read that I take ideas from as I love reading esp about diet and nutrition. I have read a good portion of the diet books out there. I think its very interesting!!

A typical day looks like this:

3 c water with half lemon in it. (taken from the 17 DD)
breakfast -- 2 c tea
morning snack -- usually nothing
lunch or mid afternoon snack ( only eat 1 time of the 2)-- either a protein/ fruit smoothie or stir fried veggies.
supper -- maybe a little meat with more veggies and or salad or soup
evening snack-- 1 of the following: smoothie, fruit, tofu

So with my eating I feel fine with it. I am still in the process of cutting out coffee, down to 1 day a a week of having coffee, and have not had a bad headache / migraine in a couple weeks I think its been. So hopefully come Monday I will have 1 week with out coffee today is day 4, so I think I am past the headache withdrawals. I'm not sure how many days with out dairy
( specifically cheese ), but I am trying something new if I am wanting cheese ( usually its because it a quick grab to eat and cause its protein its fulling ) so i bought some tofu buffalo wings and sesame tofu from the deli to keep in the fridge for those cravings and that seems to be working. And I goggled recipes so I can make my own when I get low. The only thing I might have to change is amount of calories if I increase my intense cardio. I'll see how it goes and if I need to I will.

If you want to see my actual foods and workouts you can view my trackers from my Spark page.

Thank you too all my friends and teams for all the support you have given me!!!!!!! I look forward to continuing losing my weight and getting to know everyone!!!

I don't know you well enough yet to know if you are losing weight too fast or not, or if you are okay. In general, SP doesn't recommend more than 2 lbs. per week. I hope you are feeling well and I congratulate you on your dedication, in following through. It is pretty impressive. Have a nice weekend! Love, Chelsea emoticon
