Here I am, day one and I was feeling pretty well until lunch time. I had a shake for breakfast, 0 protein drink and green beans for snack, a shake for lunch, and I'm starving! I know that it's a head game I'm playing with myself. I would like to save my afternoon snack to have in an hour or so. Maybe I'll have a piece of gum to see if I can trick myself into thinking that it's a snack. So here I am, writing randomness trying to kill the time. I am fortunate to have the support of my co-workers for this first leg. Enough whining for now, the craving has abated. Do dieters experience hell week?

    Thank you MissCharmaine for your comment! I had no idea about the gum and after posting here yesterday, my co-workers and I set up a circuit training in our office and did a good 20 minutes...I felt way better afterwards. I ended up having a pretty god day yesterday. Today seems pretty good so far as I am not nearly as hungry. I love your quote and will put it on my fridge...it won't be easy, but it will be worth it!

    Hi! I saw a post in one of the forums and followed you here.

(Edited because I should've read more of your profile).

I see you're using Herbalife. We all have to find the program that works best for us. And, I hope it works for you. I tried search SP for Herbalife stuff and, the search isn't working for me on anything today. Maybe you can find some support on the teams and groups that you find.

For me, I focus on finding something that I could be happy doing for the rest of my life. And, I couldn't live on shakes and one meal a day forever. I'd be the one hiding in a closet and gobbling a bag of cookies. LOL

Good luck! Find something that works for you and stick with it. Drink lots of water! (Oh yeah, gum is a no no! It will only make you more hungry. Well, thats what it does to me.
