I've been thinking alot lately about how to motivate myself. My thyroid is giving me issues for a few months now and I'm trying hard to get that fixed. It has affected my mood, my weight, my energy level. I'm miserable and trying hard not to be. My doctor and I are trying to get things adjusted.
This past week I've done a lot of research about living with hypothyroidism. I'm tweaking my diet a little and setting really small weekly goals for fitness until I am feeling more like my old self. And doing a lot of positive self-talk. Every little bit can help.
So my big motivator is getting my health back. You only get one chance at this life and I want to make it the best. Once my health is back, I'm hoping all the other things will fall back into place. I am determined to make 2013 a great year!
