DAY 79 LIVE AS A HEALTHY PERSON

BORED WITH SALAD AND GRILLED CHICKEN?

BEEN DIETING SO LONG YOU WANT MORE VARIETY AND FUN IN YOUR PLAN.

THINKING HEALTHY INSTEAD OF THIN IS MUCH BETTER THAT SAYING YOU WANT TO BE THIN. THIN FOLKS DO NOT NECESSARILY WATCH WHAT THEY EAT OR CARE WHAT THEY EAT.

WHEN TALKING ABOUT YOUR WEIGHT LOSS EFFORTS. CHANGE YOUR WORDS TO MATCH YOUR WEIGHT LOSS EFFORTS.

INSTEAD OF SAYING YOU WANT TO BE THINNER ETC, USE THE WORDS ACTIVE, BALANCED OR STRONG.

CREATE A NEW IMAGE OF HOW YOU'LL LIVE AS A "HEALTH PERSON".

WHAT TO DO ---WHAT TYPE EXERCISES, FOOD AND ATTITUDES TOWARD BEING A HEALTHY PERSON. DO YOU DO?

A LOT TO THINK ABOUT................

A HEALTHIER PERSON WILL SUSTAIN A HEALTHIER LIFESTYLE THAN A THIN PERSON.

ENCOURAGING YOUR KIDS TO EAT HEALTHIER... WELL MY OLDER SON (21) HAS MOVED OUT TO HIS OWN LIFE. I MISS HIM EVERY DAY I PRAY FOR HIM DAY AND NIGHT. (AS I DO FOR MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.) I CAME HERE TO SPARK AND GAVE HIM AN EXAMPLE OF HOW TO EAT A FEW YEARS JUST BEFORE HE LEFT. HE SAID I ATE BORING AND NASTY LOL. I WISH I HAD AT NASTY AS HE CALLED IT BEFORE COMING TO SPARK. OH WELL BETTER LATE THAN NEVER. NOW MY SECOND SON STARTED LIFTING WEIGHT A FEW YEARS BACK. HE IS RIPPLED WITH MUSCLES. "CUT" AS I HEARD HIM SAY. LOL! HE EATS TONS OF VEGGIES AND LEAN PROTEIN. HE DRINKS PROTEIN POWDERED DRINKS., OATS, COTTAGE CHEESE AND NUTS. HE MAKES HIS OWN PANCAKES FROM HIS PROTEIN POWDER WITH A LITTLE FLOUR. HE DOES NOT LIKE FRUIT. (((WHAT)))? HE NEVER EATS BREAD. EXCEPT THE OCCASIONAL SUBWAY VEGGIE AND TURKEY SANDWICH. I HAVE SEEN HIM EAT COOKIES, AND CHIPS ON HIS CHEAT DAY. LOL! HUBBIE IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. SO AM I. GOD WILLING WE WILL GET THERE. MY YOUNGER SON IS SPECIAL NEEDS AND HAS FOOD PREFERENCES. THERE IS NO CHANGING THAT. HE WILL PROGRESS AT HIS OWN PACE. OH YEA MY MIDDLE SON CALLED HOW I ATE (HEALTHIER) NASTY TOO BUT HE ENDED UP EATING NASTY WITH ME. emoticon

  nods! my idea of eating like a normal person is not what my normal eaters I know actually eat! LOL... but i'm learning! Spark has helped eh?

my 14 yr old dn has just started lifting... is doing the protein powders, smoothies, and all of a sudden eating for lifting... I do wish we'd done, make that known/realized how much it helps to eat that way.... decades ago... I get excited the more I learn, even though my old ideas call my name too, I feel like i'm caught in the middle and have to keep consciously making the choices... I am hoping it becomes easier! like it seems to be for the normal eaters I know...
