Wednesday March 13th
Today we have been invited to our oldest daughters school. She got recognized as Student of the Month, They gave out doughnuts and punch and juice and stuff. I had planned on doing detox day 1 today but ... I did not have any doughnuts or juice. My hubby however did eat 3 1/2. He is not a big sweets kinda guy. His brother and his wife came with us to the event. Sam got a t shirt and a certificate. I am soooo proud of her. They took a picture of us while we were there. I actually think for a change I looked kinda pretty Still realy fat but other wise looked ok. Thats a huge thing for me. I never think I look even half ok. Must be since I changed to water with a squeeze of crystal light liquid and less eating out. Hubby, brother and wife all went to breakfast I got the special 2 eggs over easy homefries and wheat toast gave sausage to hubby. Brother and wife payed for our breakfast that was nice Went to hubbys church and picked up a few things from the rummage sale found a Coach Bag under the table with junk lol and a brand new box of Brita filters. I was a happy lady I still feel awful and my belly hurts I took 2 more gas pills I dont think that they are working I feel so bloated

You are right. You look very pretty in those pictures. That is a nice color on you and you look so happy! It is so nice that your family came out to this special event for your daughter. You must be so proud of her! Congratulations to both of you. One helpful thing I am doing is to go out for lunch instead of dinner. The servings are smaller. The other thing is to ask for the doggy bag before I start to eat so I can cut the meal in half ahead of time and box it up so I am not tempted. For me, eating smaller meals more often has really helped. I have a glass of water before each small meal or snack. (about 2 or 3 hundred calories each for breakfast, lunch and dinner with 100 calorie snacks in between.) This helps me to feel full all day long and not have the dips in energy or to feel starved so I go on a wild eating spree! My biggest problem is with going to a buffet. I just have no resistance! I try to stay away from buffets, but there is one in our neighborhood that is very good and we can't resist a visit there once a month. The good thing is that I am learning to eat more of the seafood and veggies and to stay away from the bread and desserts. 1412 days ago
