Hello

Thursday, March 14, 2013

It has been a while since I have blogged something. Due to the ankle problems I was not exercising much each week but allowing it to heal. The pain is mostly gone with occasional pain due to bad weather coming now and again. It's ok. Arthritis is something that I have to learn to deal with. This week I joined a contest hosted by a local business called Molly's Lose Your Junk. For a $20.00 fee, you can enter and the one who loses the most weight wins the pot. I also am donating a prize to the contest. In C10 there is specials for items by CURVES. For $25.00 worth of CURVES products you get a free pedometer and also a consultation. So, I'll figure out what items I will donate which will probably include zipper socks, a CURVES lunch box, and perhaps a t-shirt by CURVES. I will throw in some nail polish and a Foot Works lotion too along with a few Avon samples.

Today so far I have played on my recumbent bicycle for 30 minutes and I am trying to keep active with dish washing, housecleaning and getting the next campaign's brochures ready for distribution.

I'll have to watch for the Curves stuff... I'm liking my Curves membership. Do you like your recumbent bike?

I'm glad to hear you are getting back into the groove and that your ankle is improving. emoticon

So glad to hear from you and though I know you had to lay low for a bit it sounds as though you have a great incentive to kick it into gear!

I know you have the new shoes, the right ones now. I also had an ankle problem, twisted it in the treadmill. I have the right shoes, but I needed more support for my foot and ankle. I bought an ankle support at the drug store. It just slips on, it is made by Ace and it provides the support I need to walk, run and do the elliptical. Not sure if it would help you, but thought I would mention it.

Hang in there! It can be frustrating when our health creates a roadblock. Adjust and adapt is my mantra when it occurs to me.
