Well, I am certainly familiar with this feeling. It is a craving and it is about a 6 right now on the diet implosion scale. My plan is simple and I am really just putting it out there over the lunch hour so as to commit to it, or so I hope. Here it goes...
First, I will drink some more water and have a chat with a colleague, thereby distracting myself from nearby temptation. (There are three really top-notch, no-holds-barred fried chicken joints within a stone's throw of my new gig.) I will then head to the staff lounge and heat up the low-fat, chicken dish that I brought to work with the intention of eating it (and only it). I will then enjoy with music playing in the background in my new office with my new, delightful photos of my little girl looking at me from the walls. It will be lovely and quiet. And there will be no fried chicken.
