so, here I am "blogging" in. It has been a busy two weeks. I was collecting fabric and patterns to make the DGD dresses for Easter. Have that started now. Visited a friend on hospice three times the last two weeks. I am a firm believer to keep praying unless she says she does not want to live. She was sent home to die (3 wks on the 18th) and she talks about working with flowers this spring -- she loves that! Some other friends took food and uplifting music with guitar playing in her room. I have to believe that the room of mourning was been turned into a room of recovery. We all like to hold onto hope for as long as we can. And she has the "Blessed Hope" of being with Jesus when He calls her. It was great to reconnect with her. We were not as close as of late. We both got involved with our kids and grand kids. We still love each other as sisters in the Lord and I could not count the hours our families spent together as our children were growing.
Yesterday, we attended the memorial service of an older man who died from our church. One word would sum him up as "faithful." He rarely missed church services, was faithful to his bus driving job, and was always going to Bible studies -- no matter where. He would have been 75 in May. One man stood up and said he drove his GK bus and they loved him. What a testimony! He will surely be missed!
I also went to a health class last week with a friend. I was invited to a quilt show later this month, but had to turn it down. DD and I are planning a special children's church class for Palm Sunday. It has been a busy two weeks.
"If I am too busy to pray, I am too busy."
you All have a great Spring/Holiday season this month!
