Two days ago, someone posted a blog titled 100 days until summer. That got me thinking.
I have been "Spark Streaking" with some different goals this year.
The biggest habit that I need to get firmly down is tracking and staying within my allotted nutritional ranges. I've been "practicing" since mid December with mixed results. I have been pretty good at tracking and being honest. My biggest problem is staying within the nutritional ranges allotted to me. I need to make staying in my allotted range a habit.
The next habit I want to improve is fitness minutes. I have been trying to get in some sort of extra activity in every day, even it is only walking the dog, or reaching a certain number of steps (10,000+) But I kind of suck at tracking it. I would like to be more consistent with tracking it.
The next habit is water. I need to fill up my bottle every morning, drink it by noon and then fill it up again and drink it by bedtime.
I don't want to call these "goals" because a goal implies reaching it and then it ending. I want these to be habits and for the most part they are albeit they need some tweaking.
Well, up until now my streaks have been busted after 3-5 days.
So yesterday I and a Spark Friend set ourselves the challenge of Spark Streaking for 99 days until summer with these habits.
I'm going to check in every day for 99 days and lay it out to myself and the universe how improving my habits for the day went and whether, for that particular day, did I reach my "habit" (not goal!)

What habits do want firmly in place by then?
