I thought that title might get your attention!
My doctors said I could only hope to loss around -1 lb each month because of my age and metabolic medical challenges, but I've gone low carb since January 16 (resisting grains & sugars) and have found success!!!

Week 2 Jan. 30: -1.4 this week.... -6.2 so far
Week 3 Feb. 06: -3.8 this week.... -10.0 so far!
Week 4 Feb. 13: +0.2 this week.... -9.8 so far
Week 5 Feb. 20: -2.4 this week.... -12.2 so far
Week 6 Feb. 27: -2.0 this week.... -14.2 so far
Week 7 Mar. 06: -1.6 this week.... -15.8 so far
Week 8 Mar. 13: -1.6 this week.... -17.4 so far
(-13.5 inches overall)
...at this rate, I will reach my goal by December 2013!!!
I was so excited to realize this! I have so much weight to lose, it seems near impossible to reach, and I've failed so many times before, keep picking my big butt back off the ground, dusting it off to try-try-try again. Believe it or not, hearing this actual 'goal' date was encouraging (the date is still in this same year!)... and hearing it makes me want to remain DETERMINED and FOCUSED to reach my weight-loss goal!!!
