I had intended on giving up white bread & rolls Plus donuts or muffins Basically all white stuff except rice and cauliflower.
I started keeping track of it but I didn't make it a week SO I revised it to having no donuts of muffins. I didn't change it on my spark tracker because I didn't want to miss out on the positive part of the streak. (Now I realize how I could have done that - which is neither here nor there)
Keeping my intake of breads to a minimum wasn't easy but I did it- until I wanted to completely not have it. It was hard. Harder than when I gave up ALL sugar for two weeks about 14 years ago. Not sure why it was harder. Maybe because I have indulged myself for an extra 14 years? I don't know.
So I admit am a white carbolic. As long as I can remember I have craved white flour carbohydrates.
I have not had a donut
or muffin (or any breakfast kind of pastry) for 29 days. Yea me! Tomorrow I will talk about that victory.
Omitting one or two types of carbohydrates at a time- still takes willpower but I CAN do that.
Not sure if I will ever totally omit white flour products- but most of the time I do take the healthy version (whole grain) of bread. Which for right now will work.
I know--- one step at a time!!
