Honestly I never really gave body fat a thought. I've heard that athletes have low body fat percentages. One of my nephew's body fat is something like 10%. I just didn't think about it.
Well today was our mandatory weigh in for the Team Lean challenge at work. Since the beginning of the challenge I am down 4 lbs but more importantly my trainer said based on the numbers that the 4 lbs that I lost was FAT!! How cool is that!
They measure body fat percentage and BMI using a machine that looks like a game console. You hold onto it and it does some complicated calculations and comes up with the numbers. My BMI is in the normal range. Yah! and 4lbs of fat lost. Double Yah!!
