I haven't been out here in almost a month! I'm still sticking with the gym, still working on new habits, although slowly. My 199 didn't last long, I bounced right back up into the 200s, which is what has always happened for the last 6-8 years. Ugh, so frustrating! I'm determined not to let it stop me, though. I WILL get there!
My friend, Deb, posted monthly goals for herself & I liked the idea. So, here I go:
The 2nd 1/2 of March:
1. Drink more water. I'm GREAT on the days I go to the gym (2 water bottles...32 oz by the time I get home), but am lacking on the other days.
2. Move more throughout the day, especially non-gym days. I'm very sedentary on those days. It's starting to warm up here, so it's time to lace up the sneakers and hit the road! My body wants to run and I'm not used to that. I used the treadmill once at the gym last month and loved it, but I'm very self conscious. Need to work on that and use it more regularly.
3. Go to bed at a decent hour. Ugh, I'm terrible at this one. I'm a night owl & I hate to go to bed at night. When I go to bed late, I have a really hard time getting up for the gym, or to work out here at home.
4. Weight? Um, there's only 2 weeks left of the month (can you believe that?), 3 lbs will get me out of the 200s again, so that is my goal. Doable for 2 weeks? I hope so!
