Well, right after I wrote that last post about stalllllling, I beat the slump and hit 196 one day and then 195.6 the next day.
How did I beat the slump? By tracking calories.
Although I am following Atkins and I am not really supposed to track calories exactly, I am still supposed to track carbs. I decided to log all my intake, and try to keep it at around 1500 calories or below, and that seemed to banish the slump.
Yes, doing both things is slightly annoying. The truth is, though, I really don't want to be eating a lot of carbs. I don't love how I feel when I eat a lot of carbs.
Anyway, back out of the slump! Let's hope I go down another 10 or 20 pounds before I hit a huge slump again.
