Broke one of my own cardinal rules today

I stopped at McDonalds for a mocha. I know they're ridiculously empty calories and sugar and it's a gateway food to other even worse things like hash browns and bacon egg and cheese bagels. I virtually had my entire days allowance in that one meal. Salads for lunch and dinner. :)
I had a bout of insomnia last night and I was running late so I just stopped on my way to work. I broke my caffeine ban too but I'm not as upset about that because the articles I have read lately seem to support having a little caffeine is actually good for you contrary to older studies.
I tracked every single bit of it though and although it isn't pretty it will give me pause next time I give myself permission to eat like the old me. I'll say this, I'm not feeling so good but I think it's a combination of both the food and the lack of sleep.
