I figured that, while I'm using SparkCoach, it might be fun to blog about each of the daily visualizations. So, here was today's:
Imagine that you're at a party with a huge buffet table. You fill a small plate with fruits, veggies, and some lean protein. After you've mindfully eaten until satisfaction, you are able to focus on your company for the rest of the night. How does it feel to have such a carefree attitude toward food? Work on cultivating that attitude today.
How does it feel to have such a carefree attitude about food? Well, a lot like it did when I was a kid. We didn't eat the healthiest stuff when I was growing up, but that didn't matter, because I was in elementary school, active, and had no problems with weight management. I could eat what I wanted when I wanted and not worry. So I imagine that being able to choose a small plate of healthy choices that is just enough to satisfy me...without even thinking about it... would probably feel really good. maybe even better than when I was a kid and the quality of food didn't matter.
