Walking more has my energy up

Since I started walking every day I have noticed that my energy is up and so is my outlook and mood. Yes, I do feel fatigued at the end of the day and in the morning after a day I pressed onward for a faster walk or to keep it as fast as I did the previous walk but I am experiencing energy that I used to wonder if I'd ever have again.
This is very exciting to me. I feel my body changing. I have many more lbs to lose but I can detect changes in the way my clothes fit.
I am also energized by my new routines of getting up, dressed, laced up and getting out-- the birds are singing and the daffodils and crocus all reward me with new sights to see as spring starts to appear.
I also signed up for my first 5K of the year. I have been training for it and even got my husband to agree to do one with me. It will be on St. Patrick's Day!
