Scales suck

Wednesday, March 13, 2013

So I've been feeling really good about my workouts and my healthy leaving, so why the HECK doesn't the scale go down??? Why??? emoticon So today instead of having what I call a pity party, I have sat down and gone over my eating plan and exercise schedule and modified it a little or rather tweak it. We will see what the future holds but I'm feeling good about the new plan.
On the other side of the coin my clothes are feeling looser and I feel pretty good, although my knee has been acting up again, so I may have to work around that also.
Take care spark sisters and brothers time waits for no man or woman, get better now so tomorrow you will be around for your loved ones!!!

Ignore the scale--it doesn't tell you about improved blood pressure, more energy, more HAPPINESS at improving your health or lifting heavier weights--you GOT this my friend!! emoticon

The scale is my nemesis! It's like that pseudo friend who you can take in small doses but you know they talk crap about you behind your back. So on occasion I will resort to talking to it but I don't trust it.

Keep going! It's difficult but sometimes we have to just put that scale away. There are so many reasons it doesn't move, but if you're seeing other changes, you are making progress! Good luck!

I agree - scales do suck. The important thing is you are not relying solely on that for seeing progress. You mentioned your clothes are fitting better - that's AWESOME!! I take measurements periodically and also try to judge by my clothes and I'm ready to lock up my scale for the same reason, it quit moving ... but we can't give up - it WILL move again, just keep doing what you're doing!!
