The first race of the season is coming up. It is this coming Sunday the shamrock run. I just got done reading last years race report I did. Oh what a run. Fun to look back at the memories of that day. It helps to prepare for this years race.

The weather people are having fun teasing us with the weather this year. One day it says it will rain, the next it says it will be nice. Oh what ever. It will be warmer than las year, that is for sure.

The cool thing about this year is that it's on St Patrics Day, and it's the 35 th aniversery run.

As this run goes up by OHSU this run will be in memorie of my brother in law who spent many days, weeks, and months there for treatment. It's sure to be a bit emotional for me.

It's funny this year I'm more'trained' for running the race and I'm less anxious about it. Yet I think I will be running it slower than before yet running it better than before. How does that work. Oh the pre race thoguhts that go thru your head.

I'm back working part time. Worked half a day on Monday, and all day yesterday and today. Glad I'm now at the point of 'pick and choose what I do" with work. I will be off the rest of this week.
