I just read an article in the Huffington Post (http://www.huffingtonpost.com
atives_n_1695618.html ) that talks about the dangers of sitting for long periods of time or having a sit down job... which I have. It is pretty scary.
Today, I commit to getting up and away from my desk more frequently, engaging in more physical activity and doing desk exercises when possible. I want to encourage all of you that have to sit for more than one hour at a time at work or in some other area of life to make the same commitment.
One trick that helps at home is getting up and exercising during the commercials when you are watching television.
We don't have fall victim to the negative consequences in this article! We can do better!
