Fears of regret

One thing that I fear the most on my journey is I won't get there. I know I will.... I haven't given up yet. But I fear I won't get there.

The worst feeling is that of regret. I don't want to waste the rest of my 20's like I did my early 20's. I'll be 25 this year and I have been unhappy with my fitness since I was 15 if not sooner. I don't want to look up 10 years down the road and wish I would have given it my all.

    As long as you keep moving forward, there won't be regrets about not doing your part. By forward motion, I don't mean you can't ever slip, but if you pick yourself up, brush yourself off, and get back to it, you'll get there.

    I agree with AIRMANSWIFE - don't stress over it!

    I think that just maybe what you need to be doing right now is learning to maintain what you have ALREADY accomplished rather than driving yourself to continue losing. It's probably also what your body wants. This is not a race to the finish. If you don't take some time to retrain your habits into maintenance you'll eventually put back all the weight and probably then some!

    So maybe focus on your fitness rather than your weight or body composition for a few months?

    Don't stress about that! The more you fear you won't reach your goal, the more likely that is to happen! Just focus on the positive! You can totally do this! You will reach your goals and when you do, there will be no feeling to describe it! Just keep moving!
