Just a little time for me, please

Tuesday, March 12, 2013

The day went quickly but I did sneak in a coffeebreak this afternoon-
and on time. Then I went for a haircut, almost a luxury because it
was an hour away from the phones. As I was done right at chore
time, I drove a few short blocks to the farm, fed and watered everything
and then made a stop at the grocery store. I called DH as soon as
I parked and caught him before he did all the chores a second time.
I was only a little late getting home so I could mix up the bread
dough for tomorrow's meal at church. The timer says it will be done
baking in a few minutes. Gosh, it smells so good.
DH treated me out to dinner-a wonderful salad with grilled chicken
breast and tomatoes. Delicious.
Now I will change into my pj's and watch the news and weather
and read a little in my book.
Hope you had a terrific day. Thanks for stopping by. HUGS!

Homemade bread...heavenly. I actually think I have a bread maker somewhere...or...did I give it away in a fit of appliance overload clear outs? Hummm something to scour the garage for. emoticon

The best part of a haircut is when they wash your hair and message your scalp.

I bet you love/ hate the farm chores. I often think I would like to live on a farm to experience the nature there. I doubt I would be impressed with all the work you have to do EVERY day. Have a happy day today.

Sounds like you could benefit from more of those daily 'mini vacations'.

Hey, why not use your cell phone to call yourself at work . . . then put yourself on hold? Use that time to put your feet up and stare out the window . . . .
Seriously, take care of yourself. emoticon

My mouth waters every time you talk about your homemade bread. Yum, yum.
