I have eaten at the top of my calorie range for the past three days. I've been so hungry.

When I look at the composition of my meals, I don't see an imbalance which would lead my eating to be out of control.

I've been physically active but not so much that it would account for the increased appetite. In fact, even if I consider the higher calorie burn estimates of my pedometer and HR, it still isn't enough to account for this surge of hunger.

My sleep has actually been better the last couple of nights. Yes, I am probably still running at a deficit but I can't see that my sleep patterns are any different that usual.

I am somewhat bored. Not tremendously so.

I am far too old for female hormones to be used as an explanation for this hunger. What age hasn't affected, the surgeons have. LOL

Perhaps the slightly longer days are causing a change in my brain chemicals....maybe I'm just coming out of hibernation.

I don't have an answer. Sometimes it just is what it is.

So....keep tracking all my food, my fitness, aim for the best nutrition and sleep that I can. Stay the course and eventually the course will change.

It can be frustrating. I do feel the same way for some days now, I did not have the courage to track my own meals anyway. emoticon

I'm with y'all. I hope it's the time change and we will be over it sooner rather than later. I know I've been outside more, but y'all are still having some rough weather.

I've been just a tad hungrier the last few days, too - but I can still blame hormones & for me that's the most likely culprit.

I just hate when my yummy planned food doesn't fill me up!

It looks like alot of us can relate. I can too though yesterday I finally started to feel a turn around. Personally, I blame it on the time change. I just think it throws the rhythm out of balance. Let's hope we can get over it sooner rather than later.

I hope you can come up with an answer, because I'm suffering from it too. Overate last night, right after giving myself a pat on the back for staying in a good range. I'm blaming the time change for some of it. Well I'd hate to blame myself.

I agree....I'm starving lately. Mine might be attributed to poor eating and extra physical exercise though. But it's still pretty frustrating!

Maybe it has something to do with the new layer of snow out there!

I think you've hit it on the head and just have to wait it out. Frustrating, I know.
