Life Can Change In an Instant

Tuesday, March 12, 2013

Hi everyone. Just a share here.

My daughter was in a car accident last night. She and her friend are banged up but okay. Very scary and traumatic for them. Life lesson though. Be thankful, be grateful for your life, where ever you are.

Have a wonderful day everyone.

Donna

Blessings send to all involved, and remember during this hectic time to make sure diabetics, are checking their glucose levels especially before bed.

A mother of a son involved in serious car accident, forgot to do this night he came home in a halo, her two younger children tried to wake her and couldn't. Her glucose was 30 almost in a coma, and also had a heart attack. She is now in the hospital, by ambulance.

Please alert diabetics around this situations.

    Hugs

Live every minute to its fullest. Be sure your loved ones know you love them.

And witch hazel soaked cloths work very well for bruising. soak the cloth, apply, wrap up with handiwrap to keep everything else dry. This worked for us with seatbelt bruising.

This is so true and it happened to me. It took me 2 years to recover and learn to walk again. My body and activities changed for the rest of my life in that one instant.. God has been good to me as I lived to raise my children although the physical things I can do will never be the same life is good and I try to never take anything for granted.

I am so happy to hear that they came through the accident alright. emoticon

    Ugh!
So sorry to hear this, but glad they're okay.
My youngest had 5 accidents within a 2 year window.

    There was no learning curve.
So I made sure she went to a college that didn't require a car to get around campus.
Otherwise I would never be able to sleep at nite.

    You have my sympathies.

Blessings to you are your family. So glad that everyone is OK. Just goes to show you that you just don't know what is waiting for you around the corner and we need to be thankful for every moment we have and live each moment as if it was your last!! Thank you for that gentle reminder. I was just commenting on another members blog. We are both in a "mood" (not sure why) just not feeling up to par, not motivated, just kind of blue. I think that will change now. emoticon
