My progress has slowed and I need to get back on track. I am down 13 pounds since Christmas, but very little of that has occurred in the past month. The good news is after waiting 4 weeks, I got a new triathlon bike, and my weight is on my ischial tuberosities (aka "sit bones") as it should be. The bad news is I am not used to weight there and it hurts! I know it takes some getting used to, but it's a pain to not be able to just hop on and ride as much as I want. 8½ weeks until my first tri for this year, twice the distance I did last year. I have the run and swim down, I just need to get used to the new bike so I can work up to 20 miles.
I know I can do this, I just need to put it in writing to remind myself.
