13..... NOT gonna be unlucky

Tuesday, March 12, 2013

Well, 2013 is certainly NOT starting out in the way that I thought it would. I know I just need to keep pushing forward even though it seems like things are going backward. I know I need to KICK things up a notch, if I want to see some results! I realize that it may be time to tweak several things to try to get things moving in the right direction again. It is just a matter of figuring out what things I need to tweak. I have recently gotten a few "new" fitness DVD's that I am going to start incorporating into my fitness regime. I am hoping that a little change in my routine will really get things going again. I have the drive to make a difference, just need to see some results!

I had recently set a NEW goal for my weight loss for my 13th wedding anniversary in May. I wonder if in some way I sabotaged my efforts to achieve this goal. I think I just need to keep going step by step, slow and steady, and continue to push myself "out of my comfort zone", and I WILL GET THERE! I don't NEED excuses, I just need to DO IT!

It will help to have warmer weather. At least it helps me. We have so many great places to hike and bike - more fun than DVDs.

They say a change is as good as a holiday. Good on you for changing your exercises. The battle is really won or lost in the mind. When you believe you can, you will put the steps in place to achieve.

Getting out of my comfort zone has helped me. I never thought I could run, do a 90-day workout program and take a power yoga class. It's time to take leap and challenge yourself above and beyond.

You've got this. Push forward!!! emoticon

Just read an SP article about starting with small streaks. It stated that even if it is a small streak challenge such as 10 min. of aerobic exercise per day as many days as you can keep the streak going it is a motivational tool that will work.I have decided to try a 15 min streak challenge. emoticon
