Starting over again

Tuesday, March 12, 2013

So once again, I'm starting over. One of these days (hopefully this one)I'll get back in the groove and will stay on the wagon to actually make the progress in the correct direction.

I am up to 263 lbs. That is not a good number. I'm just going to take it 10 lbs at a time though...thinking about losing over 100 lbs is just too much.

I got a fitbit One last week and today was the first day that I actually tried to get to the 10,000 step goal and I made it emoticon

Right now I want to focus on two things.
1. Getting 10,000 steps in daily.
2. Staying within my calorie budget.

That's all I really care about for the rest of this month.

Baby steps are the way to go. I started at 361 pounds and am now at 278. I've been up and down but my general trajectory has been down. I needed to lose 200 pounds when I started. Now I only need to lose about 125. To me that sounds like a lot less. It's been a year and a half but hey I didn't gain it all overnight so I can't hope to lose it that way. Baby steps, one good habit added to another good habit and always give yourself permission not to be perfect. Good enough is good enough! emoticon
