Days 10 & 11 of 'Tude - Out & FLYing!

Tuesday, March 12, 2013

I know, I know, I missed another day's blog but I wasn't home. I was out and about with my husband. It was a great day on Sunday.

On Sunday, I got up and got my day started. After I ate my breakfast, my hubby came in the bedroom and told me to get ready that we were going to go somewhere.

My hubby doesn't get weekends off very often. It is like every 6 weeks. This was the week that he had the weekend off. He went fishing and caught up on his sleep on Saturday but Sunday, it was a whole day with yours truly!

Monday - Boy am I proud of myself. I had a hard time sleeping because my mind was running through everything that I want to accomplish this week. I had set an alarm to get up at 10:30am but since I didn't get tired until 4am, I reset the alarm for noon. I actually got up at about 9:45am! That is fantastic! I had been getting up at 2:00pm everyday.

After I got up, I got washed up and dressed. Okay so for you FLYbabies out there, I got dressed to slippers. Whoa! Hold on! Let me finish. After I was up and got on the computer to read my FLYlady emails, I saw that the habit for the month of March is to get dressed to tie up shoes. I fought it for a bit but decided that I wanted to go outside with Marlie and push her around the yard on her bike. Although I could go out in my slippers, I decided that getting my tennis shoes broken in would be a good idea and I would be meeting the monthly goal. So...I put on my tennis shoes. It was like lighting a fire.

I'm a true FLYbaby! I got so much done in my house today! I am so excited. No, it isn't completely done but that is okay. I am working the plan! I blessed my home today and it looks so much better. I sweat all over the place. I tried taking breaks because I got tired but just couldn't sit down for long because I was seeing progress. Tonight, I am really tired.

I can truly see a huge difference in my life, my house, my attitude from what I am working on this month! I am so excited and happy about what is going on here with this attitude change! I am doing it!

Well, the hubster is wanting to play a game on the computer so I guess I will get off here and get the kitchen cleaned up.

Much love and positive changes!!

A huge well done, what a difference there is between you in this post, and you in your first post.

There is a saying somewhere "fake it til you make it". You aren't faking, which means you've made the change!

This seems to be truly working for you, Susan. The new BVOV magazine really spoke to me about believing and saying. No wonder my life isn't changing, I'm not doing what I know. emoticon emoticon

Worked in the bathroom today and kitchen and family room. Also worked out in the garage sale stuff sorting baby stuff and have a load in the washer soaking trying to remove stains. Need to get the other totes out so we have what we need to welcome baby. Ran errands from 1 to 5. Stopped at dd and washed her dishes and then a three hour class. My back it killing me from washing the dishes. She is 8 months pregnant with 2 1/2 year old twins. Hubby is currently living and working 2 hours away. He has three day weekends right now to come home so there is always lots of dishes on Monday. Then I had a three hour class. So glad this is our last year before graduating. DD and sil graduated in January. Didn't buy any junk and ate healthy and correct portions. WooHoo!

Sorry for the rabbit trails!!
