What does it mean to be a member of a BLC team? It means commitment, time and hard work. Members are encouraged to post on their team chat thread daily, Tuesday is LCW (last chance workout) and Wednesday or Thursday is TNT (Tighten NíTone). There is no rest on the weekend either because Friday through Monday is the weekend challenge. All of this can take up a good deal of time but the benefits are worth it. I know from experience.
I joined the BLC at the beginning of round 12 and stayed active through round 18. Then I decided I needed a break. The reason I stopped participating in the BLC was because of how much time and work it took. I knew I could do this on my own. I didnít need to be part of the BLC to accomplish my weight loss goals. I knew what needed to be done.
I WAS SO WRONG!
From round 12 to round 18 I consistently lost weight. Then I missed rounds 19 and 20 and during that time I didnít lose any weight but instead gained. So now Iím back in the BLC. Yes, being a member of the Silver Spies takes up a lot of my time and it is a lot of hard work to participate in all of the challenges but there are so many benefits. There is the interaction on a daily basis with others working towards similar goals, the support and encouragement from fellow team members and the sharing of information. And let us not forget the competition between team members and between teams. Most importantly is the benefit of a healthier lifestyle and the loss of those excess pounds.
